SGS Lab Tested • DuoCore Three-Stage System • >99.9999% Bacteria Removal

One Button. Microbe Reduction in Three Minutes.

Water safety should not be complicated. The Go keeps it simple: tap twice for a 3-minute UV-C cycle, or three times for a 5-minute Blitz Mode when you want extra confidence. No chemicals, no cartridges, nothing to replace. When the cycle ends, your water is ready.

01

Standard Mode

Double-tap the button. A 3-minute UV-C cycle runs. Up to 99.99% microbe reduction.

02

Blitz Mode

Triple-tap for a 5-minute enhanced-intensity cycle, built for higher-risk sources: public fountains, hotel taps, unfamiliar municipal supply.

03

No Filter. No Subscription. No Maintenance.

The Go uses UV-C light, not a physical filter. Nothing to swap out. Nothing to remember to order. One bottle, one cable, clean water wherever you are.

UV-C: The Technology Behind the Bottle

UV-C is a specific wavelength of ultraviolet light, the same technology used in hospital disinfection systems and municipal water treatment facilities for decades. It works by penetrating microorganisms and disrupting their DNA, preventing bacteria and viruses from reproducing.

Biology, handled by light.

Inside the cap, a quartz UV-C lens directs germicidal light into clear water. The cycle runs automatically, then shuts off when complete.

Know what UV-C does not remove.

UV-C does not remove dissolved chemicals, heavy metals, PFAS, chlorine byproducts, or sediment. Choose Beam+ when you need filtration and UV-C together.

The Go Handles Biology. The Beam+ Handles Biology and Chemistry.

The Go neutralizes the biological threat. The Beam+ adds DuoCore™ Filtration, removing heavy metals, chlorine byproducts, and pharmaceutical traces that UV-C alone cannot address. For travelers, daily commuters, and anyone drinking from aging infrastructure, it is the complete solution.

Frequently asked questions

Questions. Answered.

What does the Go actually do?

The Go is a UV-C bottle. A quartz lens in the cap sends UV-C light through the water, scrambling the DNA of the microorganisms in it so they cannot reproduce or make you ill. It reduces microbes by up to 99.99% per cycle, and it does the same to the inside of the bottle, so the bottle itself stays clean between fills rather than slowly building a film.

How do I use it?

Fill the bottle, screw the cap on and press the button once for the standard three-minute cycle. Press twice for the five-minute Blitz cycle, which is the one for water you are less sure about, like an unfamiliar hotel tap. That is the entire routine.

Does it filter my water?

No, and that is deliberate. The Go handles what is living in your water, with no cartridges to buy, nothing to replace and no ongoing cost. If you also want lead, PFAS, chlorine and microplastics reduced, that is what the Beam+ and its DuoCore system are for.

What kind of water should I use it in?

Municipal tap water is what the Go is built for: hotel bathrooms, office coolers, gym fountains, airport refill stations and city taps anywhere you travel. UV-C needs to reach every part of the water to work, so cloudy, silty or visibly dirty water is not a good candidate. The Go is not a backcountry water purifier and should not be used on untreated stream, lake or river water.

Does it add anything to my water?

Nothing. UV-C is light, not a chemical. There is no taste, no residue and no ozone, and nothing is left behind once the cycle ends.

Is the UV-C light safe?

Yes. The bottle has a safety lock that prevents the light from activating when the cap is off, so it can only ever run inside a closed bottle. You will never be exposed to it.

How long does the battery last, and how do I charge it?

Up to 50 purification cycles per charge, which is a few weeks for most people. It charges over USB-C. Dry the port and the cap thoroughly before plugging in, since moisture around the port is the most common cause of charging trouble.

How big is it?

18.6 oz, or 550 ml. It is our lightest, most packable bottle, built from double-walled 304 stainless steel with a BPA-free cap, and it keeps drinks cold for up to 12 hours.

Can I put the cap in the dishwasher?

No. The cap holds the UV-C lens, the battery and the electronics, so it should never be submerged or put in the dishwasher. Hand wash the bottle body with warm soapy water and a bottle brush, and wipe the quartz lens with a soft cloth every few weeks so the light has a clear path.

Can I put anything other than water in it?

Water only. Coffee, juice and sports drinks leave residue on the lens and inside the bottle, which reduces how well the UV-C works over time.

Will it leak in my bag?

The cap seals with a leakproof silicone gasket. Tighten it fully, and check that it is seated squarely rather than cross-threaded before you pack it.

Can I take it on a plane?

Yes. Empty it before security, as you would any bottle, and refill at a fountain past the checkpoint. That is where a UV-C bottle earns its keep.

What if the cycle will not start?

The cap needs to be fully closed for the safety lock to release and the cycle to begin. If pressing the button does nothing, unscrew the cap and re-seat it squarely, then try again. If it still will not run, charge it fully and get in touch with us at hello@uv-brite.com or 833-993-0569, and we will sort it out.

How is this different from the Beam+?

The Go is lighter, simpler and less expensive, and it sterilizes only. The Beam+ is 22 oz, adds the DuoCore filter for lead, PFAS, chlorine and microplastics, runs an automatic self-clean every six hours, and has a carrying handle. If your water is safe but you want it cleaner and fresher, the Go is enough. If you do not trust what is dissolved in your water, choose the Beam+.

What if it is not right for me?

The Go comes with a 30-day return window and a 30-day warranty. If anything goes wrong, email hello@uv-brite.com or call 833-993-0569.
